Tree Plantation Program 2026 | Growing a Greener Godawari

Description

The District Forest Office, Lalitpur, Rotary Club of Godawari, and Doko Foundation successfully organized the Tree Plantation Program 2026 at Godawari with the shared vision of creating a greener and more beautiful community. The event brought together representatives from UN agencies, the Swiss Embassy, Ward No. 3, Rotary and Rotaract clubs, Nepal Police, local forest user groups, and community volunteers, demonstrating the power of collaboration for environmental conservation. As part of the beautification initiative, more than 450 flowering and ornamental saplings of various species were planted along the roadsides in Godawari Kunda, Naudhar, and the road leading to Phulchoki. This collective effort will help enhance the natural beauty of the area, improve the environment, and leave a greener legacy for future generations. Together, every tree planted is a step toward a healthier planet and a more sustainable future.
